Bored...Bored...Bored

Need I say more? The dog is entertaining, but I can only read the same books over again so many times. I went ahead and got a St. Louis Library card, but it is woefully understocked, at least with the authors that I like to read.

On another note, the job search is going well. I've sent out an application to the Journal Sentinel for a new editor position. It looks like it's right up my alley, so I'm hoping that the hr department there agrees with me.

Anywho, my cousin gets back from Cincy tomorrow and we're planning something for tomorrow evening. Anything is better than sitting around the house all day.

It's offical! Kurt Warner is going to the New York Giants. It's going to be wierd seeing him in a uniform other than a Rams, but still good to see he's going to get a chance to play. Thanks for three great season. I wish you the best of luck.

Timber

Well, it looks like got a bit of clean up to do tomorrow. The our neighbor's tree fell over and ruined a section of our fence. The tree guys were able to clear most of the large stuff, but the yard is just strewn with loose branches and leaves. Sure, it's a pain in the butt, but it could have been a lot worse.

Just Me and the Dog

Well,the folks are on their way to San Diego and I got the run of the joint. So far, so good. One snag on the way back though. I missed my exit on the way back home and found myself in Illnois. I guess my sense of direction really does suck.

Anywho, got plenty of errands to keep me busy today. A visit to the bank, the post office, and grandma's should take me well into the afternoon. After that, it's anyone's guess.
