Goings On

Memorial Day has come and gone. I am please to say that it went very well. My buddy, Craig, come down from Minnesota for the weekend. I haven't seen him for awhile so, it was nice just to hang with him and catch up on stuff. He even hooked me up with some more freelance work with his company! It's not the most glamorous of jobs, but hey, if it helps pay the bills, I can't be mad at it.

Nikki is now firmly entrenched in Lennox, Mass for her summer stock gig. She got a hold of me yesterday, and regaled me with tales of how lonely and isolated she was. I can't blame her. If I was stuck in a wooden cabin out in the middle of the boonies I'd probably go a little batty as well. But I told her once her roomates show up and the job gets going, she'll be fine. She made it perfectly clear that care packages would be much appreciated. I wonder how much it would cost to ship myself to Massachucetts?
