Gutting One Out

I did it!!! I am the 2005 Wisconsin Pai Lum Tao Sen Shou Heavy Weight Champion! It was one hell of a fight, or at least that's what everyone has been telling me. To be honest, the entire affair was a blur. My opponent beat the every loving snot out of me in the first round and everything after that is kinda hazy. He even knocked out my right contact so I was essentially fighting blind for the remainder of the fight.

But fortunately for me, he was gassed after the first round and I was able to take advantage by working inside with short hooks to the jaw and knees to the stomach and legs. But still, it went the full three rounds and neither of us backed down. We both wanted to win and this time I came out on top.

My thanks to everyone who helped me train and cheer me on. And for those who couldn't be there, thanks for being there in spirit. I'll be sure to get a copy of the fight to you guys as soon as I can.
