Waiting on Some News

I called my folks yesterday and found out that my grandfather in the Philippines may be suffering from kidney failure. If it is, it could be bad news for grandpa. He's old enough as it is, and this can't make it any better.

I'm worried about my father as well. I know how much he loves his dad. I've always suspected that he felt a guilty about leaving his dad in the Philippines. He's already planned a trip to visit him this coming April. If it turns out to be bad news, I think he may move that trip up a bit. I have half a mind to join him if he does.

I'm just praying for good news, for his and my grandfather's sake.
