No snow so I must go

Honestly, I was kind of hoping that this weekends snow would be a little heavier. I like spending time on the road, but after my three day road trip last week, my enthusiasm has waned quite a bit. Today I'll be in Two Harbors (3 hr drive) and tomorrow I'll be in Walker (another 3hr drive). Weather permitting, I'll be round tripping both of them same day. The iPod helps , but it's no subsitute for conversation. It's trips like these that make me feel how lonesome a soul can get.

But it helps to know that I have friends and family out there who care. I carry them with me where ever I go. So while I may feel lonely sometimes, I am never alone. I just wish I was driving to see one of them right now.

Happy Monday

I'm back at the office only to be out again on the road for most of the week. I'm leaving for a cross country tour of Minnesota on Tuesday and I still have some prep work to complete. I'm only going out to cover various planning and zoning meetings 5 different counties, so it's not too big a deal. But I'm looking forward to the drive time and seeing the scenery.

What a weekend.

So many things happend, I'm still trying to process it all. But it's a good thing. If I wasn't so tired, I'd write more about it.
